Dream Journal Vol.1 [Recap]

These are a couple old dreams, I'll only be writing on nights I actually have dreams but I want to explain these ones first.

A few months ago I had a dream about a YouTube channel called "Meme School" and it was full of videos using stale memes to explain basic concepts (target audience being children or parents looking for educational videos to keep their kids entertained.) One video that stuck out to me in particular was titled "Counting Change Becoming Uncanny" and it was one of those stale Mr Incredible meme videos but his expression would change depending on the number of coins. It would be his face on the left and then a picture of a couple coins with their total above it in a caption.

Another dream I have had much more recently (3 weeks ago) was about a cartoon monster named Magnus in a secret area in Half Life 2. Picture Spongebob crossed with the Troll Mother from Castle Crashers. Magnus spoke in a voice similar to Jason the Egg from Element Animation and would sit there and talk to you for a while since he was injured. If you stood there and let him talk to you the game would assume you stayed to help the poor guy. The game fades to black and then fades back in showing you a grotesque scene of magnus consuming Gordon Freeman.

I have one more experience that can only be described as dreamt up. Ever since I was little up until a year ago I was convinced there was a rare easter egg that would cause Godzilla to appear in Half Life 2. I vividly remember watching a video titled something like "Half Life 2 Glitches and Secrets." One of the secrets detailed was a rare chance for all of the NPCs outside of the elevator to Elis lab to turn into an unanimated model of Godzilla. I told friends and peers about this fully believing it to be real up until a year ago where I explained it to someone and then spent hours of my time searching for this video that I had supposedly watched. I'm still not entirely sure it wasn't like an April fools video that I fell for when I was a child and its since been deleted but I prefer to save myself the headache of tracking down a video that's very likely fake.
