SO much has happened these past few days after i got a job again!
Been look for a few months now and landed back at my first official job i had started out with.
Weird enough i've been thinking about it for a while and knowing they'd take me back im not sure why i havent done so sooner XD
Besides that i've been quite busy acclimating to working again and looking for a second ob to pay off a few bills.
I was quite surprised and very happy everyone welcomed me with open arms again, all were very happy to see me and were relieved to have someone hard working like me again.
I will be honest i did enjoy my first time there when i started, and i am now. THe team is great (all the toxic peeps have left) and its slowly getting the updates i've pressed upon before i had left.
So let's talk about the first day back, my position has been set by the bar, one of my favorite things to do!
I was really nervous i had forgotten how to make drinks and such but just like habit it never went away fully. i felt back in my element better than ever and more aware of how to do things better and utilize it to my best ability now.
Afterwards it was either helping with service and tending to the customers or doing a few more chores for the next shift for the next few days.
Today i had to stay a tad longer for the arriving shift and it was a bit chaotic XD
Restocking on drinks and items for shakes, and tending to customers as they got settled.
Which reminds me, just the other day i had thought about a new item we could possibly add to the menu but still want to share it here.
I love smores and during the fall i think it'd be great as a new 'loaded shake' item.
But i'd love for you guys to try it yourselves and let me know what you think if you do decide to try.
The name will be
S'more For Me!!!
Ingredients needed
Vanilla icecream
Milk
Butter Crackers
Chocolate Syrup
Toffiffee
Caramel fudge syrup
Marshmallows
Whipped cream
Almond flavoring syrup (optional)
Instructions
1. In a blender put 3 scoops of ice cream, put about 50- 100 ml of milk or however much you'd like. depends on how thick you like your shake.
Add 40 ml of almond flavoring syrup and blend together
2.while that is mixing grab a large cup and line it with caramel and chocolate syrup, making it look fancy >:3
3.after it has blended pour in your mixture, top it with whipped cream and your crushed crackers.
4. take your toffiffee or any hard caramel chocolate fudge and chop it into small pieces and add it onto the whipped cream.
5. now take a wood skewer and place your marshmallows on them and toast them, placing them into the shake when golden brown or to your liking.
And for extra flair you can top the shake with more caramel and chocolate syrup. and viola you're done.
I hope the instructions were clear enough as i don't write recipes at all XD
This will most likely not make it into the menu if i suggest it due to how time consuming it could be for our work place so i thought i'd share it.
