so as you guys can see on my profile, im 14, i turned 14 last month (happy late birfday to me yesyes)
so i am going to be a freshman this year! and im like sort of horrified because SO MUCH happens during highschool based off what i hear from people
like people become more fake...not everyone is your friend anymore (and i love having friends):) im just sort of scared bc people make highschool sound terrifying and now IM terrified so
im also scared bc people say that during highschool boys like to use girls for n!des and stuff and date them as a joke. like even though im highly disgusted by the fact boys would even want to come near me to date me, like having them as a friend is fine but DATING?? oh my god i think i just puked. BUT LIKE..WHAT IF I DO END UP LIKING SOMEONE AND THEY DO THAT??? like ofc i wont send n!des im 14 and thats cp BUT LIKE IM JUST SORT OF TERRIFIED BECAUSE WHAT IF FUTURE ME IS WEAK IN THE KNEES AND DOES FALL IN LOVE, AND THEN GETS BROKEN UP WITH AND BECOMES EVEN MORE DEPRESSED???? IM SO SCAREDDDDDDDDDD
but even so...highschool might be good, like i have a set out sleeping schedule (even tho im not committed obviously) and i am actually gonna take it seriously! unlike every other year of school LMAO
i might have a small group of friends that i like, and i might have nice teachers, and who knows! i might even have my first kiss!! but thats unlikely bc i look like a troll and think every boy around me looks like they repeatedly smashed their head into a brick wall

you should definitely try to join an activity/club (if you're able to ofc). not only are they really fun and provide great experiences, but they're also a really good way to meet some great friends. also, stick to a group of friends you can enjoy hanging out with, it'll definitely make dealing with classes much more enjoyable :)

I've been there! I just graduated high school a few months ago, and to be honest it was a rather sad and boring experience LOL, just stay around the right people and you should be fine! Anybody that gives off bad vibes PLEASE steer clear from! Unfortunately I've spent my first year of of hs with some freak and it really wasn't worth it, stay safe and be careful who you surround yourself with. Other than that, high school can be pretty fun! I've joined some clubs and I've gained and lost friends, but it def changed me into the person I am now - for the better too! I wish you luck in high school, things WILL seem scary at first, but I promise, the longer you stay, the more comfortable you'll be.
