hooray more layout done + talking about laptop

hooray i got some more stuff done with the layout. some sections on here don't have much of an analog on macosx, but i'll find bits and pieces to copy. i have my computer in front of me with my silly little mid-2010 macbook mavericks with the digital color meter open for easy copying.

i like snow leopard more than mavericks, but i actually use this laptop for school and i'd prefer it to be able to access the modern internet. also, the buttons and stuff are simpler on mavericks which makes recreating them easier.

i have it dual booting mavericks and arch. arch is great but i don't really want to mess around with it in class or something. and, if i have to have someone else use it, they wouldn't know how to work dwm. that makes it kind of a pain when i don't use it for a while and i need to update it for an hour. there's only 128gb to each partition because i had a bigger wd blue ssd but it fucking died for no reason so i had to replace it with the one it came with.

i got it for 70 bucks on ebay so that's fine i guess. it's not like i'm installing omnisphere or something. i only installed logic pro 9 and its sound library. i'm kinda insane about logic 9 and its library for reasons i might get into in a later post. it's kinda embarrassing but not really.
