Log 2: Weezer, broken tablet and room cleaning

My room has been really messy for a few days WEEKS now and it's driving me insane. Ik it's kindof gross but I couldn't find the motivation to clean even when it was getting hard to walk through... UNTIL NOW! A figure I've been waiting to arrive for literally like 3 yrs has FINALLY made its way to my house. I told myself I'd only open it when I'm done cleaning, so I started that today >:3
I'll post a picture when I'm done because despite the somewhat messy look of it bcuz of all the posters and stuff I still love it a lot :)

I ALSO SAW WEEZER LIVE THIS FRIDAY!! It's a little embarrassing to mention but I do genuinely like their music... And I got to go to the concert for free because of my volunteering at the music festival!!! I sang along to all the words it was awesome :) I went with my friend which I hadn't seen since the end of school a few weeks ago which made it even better <3 They sang Pink Triangle and El Scorcho back to back it was like a big fat slap to the face it made me laugh lol. Rivers Cuomo wore a My Melody hat thrown by an audience member when he played Buddy Holly it was awesome. Super worth the hours of standing I had so much sincere fun for the first time in a while ngl!!!

Recently I've had a lot of free time (Excluding my volunteer hours (which are not at all as bad as I was expecting them to be)) and I've found myself wanting to draw very often. Problem is my drawing tablet is fully NOT WORKING right now and just wont pick up my pen in a lot of different locations. I think its reached the end of its lifespan which makes me sad :( And I can't draw digitally right now, which means I can't make proper oc refs, which means I can't participate in artfight even if I REALLY wanted to this year... On the bright side this does push me to explore more within the traditional art mediums that I have at my disposal. I've been having a lot of fun experimenting with pens, different nibs, ink and water dilution. So I guess it's not all bad... I just wish I had the option to draw digitally right now :(

Still patiently waiting on my PSP to arrive... I'm really excited :) I'm going to transfer my adrenaline saves from my PS Vita to the PSP so PSP and PS Vita games are separated, and so I can have more storage space!

P.S. I ended up not going to see the Canada day fireworks, but I did see some people setting off their own in their backyard, so ig its better than nothing!
