How to make icons!

I'm gonna make an icon of this image with some text!

So firstly, you're gonna wanna crop the image to be square:

Now add the text you want and any other graphics such as a border etc:

You could actually leave it there if you want a picture icon and use this site to resize it to 100x100, but if you want it animated:

Make a second 'frame' - add something or even use a different photo/text etc - i just added some blood and a heart:

Now use this site to resize the two frames to 100x100 (myspace icon size) or really whatever size you want. Save them!

Finally, use this site to turn your two frames into a gif:

The delay is how long the frame will show before switching to the other. You can also experiment with crossfading etc.

Finally, save your gif and use it on ur profile all you want!
