I made this post on other socials but failed to mention it here...oops!
Well here it is.
As of July 5th, I am now an endorser with Aurora Strings in Bridgeport, CT! I was with GHS for quite a few years, and while I have nothing bad to say about the company or their product, it was time for me to move forward. I was always aware of Aurora but never delved into the brand until recently. Saw some posts on their Instagram page and decided to write Jake. He was incredibly gracious and seemed eager to want me on board.
Fancy that!
So I ordered a set of green 7 strings. Yes, green. You can see pics of the strings on my website as well as other socials. (And no I am not signing up for Threads...I have enough to juggle.) They make a wide variety of colors and the strings are definitely impressive. Most of the time, coated strings feel like rubber or glue, and the tone is dulled. Not these! I've had these strings on my guitar for a week and even let some students play my guitar as rough as possible. The coating wore off VERY LITTLE on the low B string. Otherwise, they are still solid and the tone is fantastic.
What prompted me to agree to come on board wasn't so much that I like the strings but my students did! Jake was very excited to give me a nice deal, so there you go. And he asked me to reach out to other artists who might be interested in striking up an endorsement as well.
Here's the link for Aurora Strings.
So if you want color back in your life and on your guitars/basses...hit them up!!
