Sharing a few of my modded gameboys

Been getting into gameboy modding a lot recently, here’s some of the builds i’ve done!

Sylveon GBA - This was the first build i did a few years back, didn’t know how to solder so the brightness can’t be controlled but it still turned out pretty good! i ordered custom stickers online but didn’t understand the MOQ and ended up paying like $40 for 9 decals 😭

Cyan and Pink DMG - this was my second build that i put together after getting back into the hobby this year! also my first time soldering, i love how many options the screen has for colors and the new speaker / audio jack is great for making chiptune.

Pink and white GBC - most recent build, the screen is laminated to the screen lens and it’s fucking glorious 

I have some parts in the mail to build a clear SNES gameboy advance that uses a dsi screen, i’ll post some pictures of that when it’s done! any other retro gamers here?
