What Makes Them So Unique?

I love how movies and tv shows all have something that makes them unique depending on what part of the world they're from. Two of my favourite examples of this are Indian movies and Korean shows. 

What's unique about Indian cinema is how they use music to help tell the story (one of my favourite examples of this is 'Om Shanti Om' when we get the scene where Om tells the story of Shanti's life & death through music) and how they're usually over or near 2 hours long, being able to tell a story for that long and be able to keep the viewers attention for that long requires a lot of skill. 

What's so unique about Korean (specifically south) television is how for their shows that fall under the comedy genre they add sound effects and animation, it's the perfect mix of live action and animation, being able to do that is no easy feat, it really makes watching the show that much more enjoyable. ok I'm done with my little rant.
