new socks

today has been lovely. i got up early to go to work, got a lot done, and then came home to pick up my husband and run errands :) i'm sitting here eating some tortellini and listening to a crime vid before bed since i have to be up early again tomorrow. the only thing that sucks is the fact that i have allergies kicking my ass rn.

does anyone else really like getting new socks? one of the places we stopped earlier was target and i grabbed a pack of socks since my usual boot socks are wearing thin. idk what it is but i love buying new socks; it's exciting to try them on for the first time. typing this out it sounds weird but i see it more as a "one of life's little joys" type thing.
