June 19th, 2023. Entry 1: About "Just a Phase That'll Go Away".

My newest release is an album called "Just a Phase That'll Go Away", which is about the ongoing attacks, violence, hate and predatory legislation against trans, non-binary and gender nonconforming folks. It was released on the first day of Pride Month for that exact reason. It portrays the past, present and possible future of this hateful rhetoric. I hope my message comes across to you just as well as I intend. This is a serious situation, so many people are fleeing their home states in fear of persecution, violence and/or harassment, and I hate how I can't do anything about it other than my music. I hope my message comes across and how each song is a part of their plot.
