undertale theory blurb (sans/papyrus origin)

OMG!!! its not even funny how much this stupid game and fandom has been taking over my life lately :PP not like, complaining but jeez!

i was thinking abt how sans says on multiple occasions stuff like : "you must really want to go home. hey. i know the feeling.", "i gave up trying to go back a long time ago.", "well, hey. take it from me, kid. someday you need to learn when to QUIT."

so like, yeah a lot of people have already theorized on this and whatever, but i just felt like blogging about sumthing loll

so like, if sans is from some other universe completely (deltarunes timeline, for example) did papyrus come w him? like some of the villagers in snowdin talk about how one day the bros just randomly appeared, and never gave anyone backstory?? so id assume that paps came w him from the same place but, maybe theyre just from completely diff universes and somehow crossed paths and stuck together? just sorta creating that brotherly bond n going from there? 

paired w the content from the seasonal newsletter, too!! the last little question, in particular

which went smth like "papyrus, what do u remember from life before snowdin?!" amd his response was liekkkkkkk "i dont remember much,,,, just green grass." and his respoonse got completely knocked off by sans saying he was out of the bath LOL

but to my knowledge there is no place in the underground in which there would be green grass?? like duh its the underground lol but like

- snowdin is too cold, covered in snow,, duh

- waterfall is just mostly water LOL, and marshland

- hotland, obvi no grass becuz its like super hot 

but! theres one location off of the top of my head that kinda fits the bill? and thats the area before you fight ASGORE. the room with his throne, and toriels covered up one! the room with the golden flowers in the middle, where asriel is said to have collapsed and turned to dust.

so, im a particular believer in gaster being the father of sans/papyrus, and we know that asgore and gaster mustve been kinda close? because hes the king and gaster was the royal scientist, ofc

so maybe sans and papyrus wouldve stayed with asgore at some point? if you assume that gaster was performing experiments on the two brothers, and keeping them secret, (like in handplates <3) and THEN fell into the core, the brothers really wouldve just appeared, out of some sort of captivity. then being babysat or smth by asgore or whatever? then released to snowdin??? man idk

soooo just sum food for thought lol, im no theorist!!
