valerie goes places / part 1

hello

my name is valerie and i like to go to places occasionally

yesterday because of some project day thingie my school did for the last week of school, i went to the BMW factory in my city and the DHL hub at our local airport :D

while i am personally not the biggest fan of cars (loud, take up a lot of space, not really climate friendly etc.) it was still amazingly interesting seeing how everything worked at the bmw factory. we walked around the different places (f.e. the manufacturing space where they make the chassis) and it was very cool seeing all those robots work so amazingly fast and precise, even though it is pretty sad seeing that people’s jobs have completely disappeared because of that ):

next up, after a small roadtrip to bc a different city with a friend of mine, we went to the DHL hub at LEJ airport, by then it was already about 9pm so i was pretty tired (considering i was up since 6am that day;;;) but it was still very cool. we looked around the different terminals, with the tour guide explaining how the several systems work and some technical jargon i honestly didnt really understand, and then we took a small tour around the airport on a bus looking at planes, seeing them park and seeing some crews offloading packages. generally very interesting, but considering these people arent usually employed by dhl and are part-timers who really dont get paid a lot, it is kind of a sad thought aswell.

either way, after that me and my friend went home and i went to sleep at i think about 1am today??? either way im very tired and kinda dizzy which is why i didnt do that much today (hope my dad wont get too mad D:)
