purple

not sure how many of you will have heard of this one. i found out about this game called purple from a friend, which is meant to be re-released as a director's cut later this year. i really enjoyed the demo for the dc, and my friend was kind enough to send me the original game.

my main issue with the game is the did/osdd representation. the story is set up beautifully as if it might subvert the "split-personality murderer" trope, but spoiler, it unfortunately doesn't. hopefully the directors cut addresses this. there's just something darkly charming to this game.
