McGill [RIP]

Our dearly beloved McGill sadly passed away this afternoon. He was battling swim bladder disease, but we don't know how it could've happened. My prediction was something along the lines of the three snails my brother got about 2-3 weeks ago and how fast they died. They could have had a bacterial infection and somehow got to McGill.

It was a horrible sight to see the betta swim upside-down in a desperate attempt to stay alive... He passed within minutes of my brother getting home from work. I'd like to think McGill was waiting to see his owner one last time.

We buried him in our backyard. And cried. And cried. And cried.

Rest in paradise, Gill.
