Log 1: Canada day, my dad's home from work (TW/CW super vague family fighting and stuff heads up)

Ik its been a while since I've said anything here... Mostly because I had nothing to say lol. 
I've been sitting in my room mostly making progress in a lot of games I've been neglecting, notably lots of Persona 4 (lowk been losing sleep playing it but its fine since I can actually sleep in) and slow progress on reading Togainu No Chi, on top of my regular daily Enstars logins.

I want to start logging some of my days because I think its fun to write and I want to put a little bit more about myself out there! I guess I'll be writing this kind of like a sort of impersonal diary to log some of my thoughts throughout this summer (semi-consistently, I really don't expect myself to remember doing this every day, but I'll try to write when something noteworthy happens) Mostly writing this for myself, but hopefully this could help some of you, on my Spacehey friends list, to get to know me better!

Today my dad came back from his work in another city, and I'm glad he's back, but me, him and my mom kind of had a small argument first thing in the morning which sucked. Regardless we did work through it and ended up getting Pho at my favorite restaurant (^^)/ We didn't do anything too celebratory, there were too many tourists and people in the city center, and we've never really been particularly patriotic people. I think we were also pretty tired. I'm glad to have spent the day with them though! 

I guess when my dad first left I thought I wouldn't have missed him too much because it had been a topic of discussion for a while in my family that he eventually planned on leaving my hometown to go back to the city of his childhood, his dream city. But over the months I found myself missing my dad (lol who could've guessed, teenager still loves their dad and misses him when he's gone). I feel guilty because I'm very bad at responding to calls and have trouble remembering to call/text people back and I feel like I don't show my parents that I love them enough because I don't contact them often enough, so I think I'll try to be more aware from now on. Anyways, we unfortunately got caught in the rain on the way home and got soaked (T_T) 

I'm waiting to see if the Canada day fireworks are going to end up being launched this year or if they'll end up being cancelled because of the fires... I hope they do happen tho! They're easily my favorite part of any Canada day celebration. I love how loud and pretty they are, the way they shake me to my core and how you can kind of feel them in your heart because of their sheer power? It's just so cool. And I like being out late, it's an all around fun experience, so I hope it happens. 

On another note, I bought a PSP recently and I can't wait for it to be shipped to me so I can move my Adrenaline saves and games to it. I also plan on swapping some elements like the buttons of the PSP and maybe eventually the casing to some customized colors, like some clear pink and/or green (my favorite color combo ever). I also have some cute clover themed charms coming in the mail that I'm planning on decorating it with. It's really exciting to have a project on the brain for the first time in a while (other than some small stuff like making a few PSV themes for myself lol)
