[☾] found love poem

**a found poem consists of lines from other poetry combined and slightly altered to make your own poetry. this is one of my first poems that was originally a class assignment, but i love it so much i have to share!**

in my heart's deep core, it sings.
not a carol of joy or glee, but a plea for my romeo.

our young love makes me feel like a beautiful spring day:

the sun is bright on the upland slopes,

the winds stir softly through the springing grass,

and the river flows like a stream of glass.

as we watch the golden sunset and dawn forthcoming,

our love cannot be lulled.

when we are not together,

my aching heart pleas for you.

it pulses and pulses

each with a keener sting 

every second you are away.

but once i see you,

the sorrows of my heart are relieved by its joyous tears 

and the chambers of my soul are set free.
