Finally found a book

hi

I've always wanted to be one of those blogging people because it seemed so cool, but now I don't think I can do it because I feel like it needs to be perfect or I will be tracked down and laughed at. Moving on, I'm not a reader, but I was in the library the other day so I could get some work done and feel productive like those people I see in videos with their "What I Do In A Day" videos

I found this book after I finished the work I needed to do (I actually did the work instead of getting distracted!!) and I was so interested immediately, which is so surprising for me because I find it so hard to get into any book. I picked it up because it was written by the same person that wrote another book I've been wanting to read, and it had an interesting cover too. Its called "The Chalk Man" and I really want to keep reading it.

The Chalk Man: The chilling and spine-tingling Sunday Times bestseller: Amazon.co.uk: Tudor, C. J.: 9780718187439: Books

The book I wanted to read that led me to this was "The Taking Of Annie Thorne" and Stephen King, the guy that wrote "The Shining" said that it was a great book

I literally read such a little amount, but I got so into it and the lady that works in the library told me that they were closing and I have no clue how a book could make me lose track of time like it did, but it was so so good

I had to put the book back so I could leave, but I really need to go back to the library so I can keep reading it. I found such a good place to sit and read it, the chair was so comfortable and the big window was right behind me so I could see the pages perfectly. I had my headphones on which were blasting fan noises (don't make fun of me anything else would distract me) and my clothes were so comfortable.

I know it sounds silly, but I'm actually so happy that I found a book I like so much because I don't enjoy things as much as 'd like to, and my motivation to do just about anything is non-existent, but I'm here now actually looking forward to reading this book again.

I also wanted to read The Shining, and I did read some, but I have been reading it on my phone, so I don't have a physical copy of it. I really do want one, because I keep thinking "I'll read it later" because it's so easy to access, but I never do. when I do though, I really enjoy it, but all it takes is one notification to get me distracted. I also don't like the experience of reading a book from my phone anyway, reading from my phone seems so much more nice, because I can write, highlight and just enjoy it more because it feels like it "exists" in a way.

I'm not sure how to explain it.

I was just using this as a way to procrastinate doing something I actually need to do

I've finished thinking for now, thank you for being here!!
