late concert blog

a week ago (A WEEK AGO? HOW IS IT THAT LONG) i went to pierce the veil and the used’s coheadliner tour with my best friend ever !!! and i still dont believe that night was real. i was full on grinning literally 100% of the time while i was there i was in autistic bliss. i owe so much of my enjoyment to a pair of foam earplugs and my hand fan (THAT A LOST A FEW DAYS AFTER. not even at the show, after i had come home and went to a different thing im so mad)

truthfully pierce the veil was a bit of a letdown because 1. there was a lack of energy & crowd engagement n 2. i honestly couldnt see them because of the way the crowd was acting (literally who is shocked.) obviously a thousand phones were in the air so i couldnt see their faces, but what i wasnt expecting (or at least hoped wouldnt happen) was that a shit ton of people were shoving their way in front of me. they didnt already have a spot towards the front, they just had audacity and a dream. thankfully i was able to handbang my neck into oblivion and sing to my best friend who was probably ascending. when their set ended like a quarter of the crowd left and we were able to move waaaaaay closer to the stage for the used and the show got a billion times better in every way. bert is so entertaining and actually engaged with the crowd and for the very last song he turned the whole floor into a wall of death so my friend and i took the opportunity to mosh for the first time and it was a BLAST i cant wait to do it again sometime.

im so fuckin glad that this was my first concert and i went with the person i went with and it was just so great i wouldnt change it for the world. once it was over my legs were jello and i was in heaven and my friend said to my face i look like i died. which i did
