ugh work

I work at a grocery store chain doing the shopping for online orders and 4th of july weekend is already becoming my least favorite weekend so far.

it wasn't all that bad except for the amount of people in such a rush that they ran into me or yelled at me for whatever and the amount of people complaining.

some old lady came up behind me and literally grabbed my shoulders and spun me around to face her. she said in a very angry way, "I'm in a hurry, where's the gluten free bread?" 

I said that it's on the bread aisle, because it is, and she goes, "I already looked there and it's not there. so where is it?"

so I said, "it's on the bread aisle towards the jams."

she goes, "no it's not. I. looked."

so I offered to walk over with her and show her. we walked over there (while she complained the whole way) and I showed her where it was. 

she goes, "why didn't you just walk me over here when I told you I was in a hurry?"

I didn't say this but the answer is because I walk with a cane so me leading her over there took way more time than it would have if she would've listened to the directions I gave her.

she then got really annoyed and said, "god, the workers here are just useless." before storming off.

I also had a guy ask me to find cheese curds and when I told him that the ones he already had in his cart where the only ones left he goes, "it is 4th of july weekend" and then put his arms out in a really weird way. it was weirdly hilarious. he just sounded so disappointed and confused idk lol
