The absurd standarts the p0rn industry has enforced on women

I have a trans (male to female) friend who will have a gender affirmation surgery in winter and today she was talking about the risks to us because we were curious and one of her biggest fears was having a "non aesthetic looking v@gina" so she showed us one of the post operation pictures that she found which was done by the doctor she is going to. She thought all of them were not pleasing in looks and not "cute" and me and my friend spent a good half an hour to convince her that c00chies come in all shapes, sizes and colours and there shouldn't be a thing as a "good looking puss" and she seemed to be convinced and relieved until a male friend of ours wanted to look at the pictures and he didn't like them. So all our efforts went to waste once again and she started fearing it even more.

Which makes me really mad. Not that she fears it. She has every right to it. Even I have issues with my body no matter how much I try to stay positive about it. What makes me mad is that these men, sorry, boys, growing up watching unrealistic p0rns focused on male gaze only (and before you try to fight it, even les p0rn is aimed at men and any women loving women would say this) and they expect every woman to look like that without having an idea of what a real vagaygay looks like. It can be darker or lighter in colour. It can have hyperpigmentation around it. It can come in all shapes. IT IS NORMAL. WHAT'S IMPORTANT IS THAT IT IS HEALTHY. I can't stand boys who seek the perfect princess pink glittery puss while they have a nasty a$$ p#nis that is not even straight, stinks so bad, definitely not one colour like they expect a woman's genitals to be, and full of d/ck cheese. BE F'ING FOR REAL.

Biological women, trans women and people who identify as anything that has a puss puss, YOUR PARTNER SHOULD BE GRATEFUL TO HAVE YOU WITH THE NASTY PERSONALITY AND IGNORANCE THEY HAVE BEFORE TALKING NONSENSE ABOUT YOUR GENITALS OKAY?? DONT LISTEN TO THEM AND DUMP THEM IF THEY ARE NOT DESERVING OF IT, PERIOD.

And for real, boys, stop watching so much p0rn for fuks sake.

Yeah but it is not very "customisable" even with surgery. Just like how it is for a biological woman, it is also very personal for a trans woman. Your options are limited and they don't add anything since they literally convert one genital to other.

I have a trans sibling so i know how it is but i also feel like the most important thing is that they feel comfortable in their body, if they want it to look like a po*n stars shii why not research. If my sis wanted hers to look aesthetic im gonna help her and talk to the dr to see what can be done even if it's cosmetic surgeries. Cause at the end of the day its her body and she doesn't need another thing to feel dysphoric about.

Of course but the enforcement of the media is what creates the other dysphoria in the first place. A surgery is not as simple as just "do a research and fix it". Yes, they should have the best results they can possibly have, that doesn't change the fact that a complete customisation is currently not possible but decreasing the effects of the industry on people is. When you pay for it and choose the best surgeon according to your needs, of course they have to do the best they can to their limits.

Well obviously a complete customization isn't possible, i was making a joke in my first comment. The doctors obviously have limits but talking to the doctor about their concerns and seeing their pov and recommendations is better than just telling them to live with it cause everyone is different. This surgery is all about them so prioritize their needs instead of convincing them to settle, im sure she's not the only person who expressed these concerns. Better safe than sorry, insecurities don't really disappear they just get sugarcoated.

Any esthetics procedure occurs like that anyway, it has to. If a surgeon doesn't discuss your needs and requests with you, run away.
