for literally years, from childhood until now. the times where my sleep schedule is best is when im doing something physical in the day. for example, at my new job i basically walk around for 8 hours and my sleep has never been better. but before when the only thing i would do is school work and computer games i could never control my sleep. i think this is actually the key to fixing your sleeping unless you're a diagnosed insomniac or something. do physical stuff for like a week. walk instead of driving, do pushups. play street hockey. jog. whatever it takes to get a good amount of your day being physical. and you should be tired by the end of the day. for me it worked wonders. leave other sleep fixing ideas in the comments!

That's some solid advice, I have recently been struggling to sleep which is really surprisingly ironic since I am narcoleptic and had no problem falling asleep at any moment regardless of how much sleep I had gotten.
I didn't really go out of my way to look for solutions but funnily enough I kinda just remembered an episode from Jojo where you meet Kira Yoshikage and realized he unironically gives some solid sleep advice lol
- " I’m in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning."
But of course, for people who may be lactose intolerant and cannot consume stuff like milk, I would personally suggest warm honey+water or any warm drink with honey works really.
