Tacos

I wanna know who made tacos. Whoever made them is genius like did they just throw everything into a tortilla or was it an accident,, what's the history behind tacos??

Hi serious answer to a non serious question, just thought it was interesting There is anthropological evidence that tacos as a concept have been around for a while, long before the Spanish colonized Mexico. Ancient Mexicans living in lake regions would have made and eaten a basic corn tortilla with small fish and organ bits of various animals. The tacos we enjoy today were brought over in the early 20th century by working class immigrants (they were easy to transport and cheap to buy) and sold as street food. Eventually traditional ingredients began to mix with more American palates and the rest is history I believe.
