LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Hello everyone, Robbie here, I got some wonderful news! I got my student visa approved! I will be able to study in the US for the next few years! Im so happy, The university I'll attend is wonderful and the campus is so beautiful! I'll have a roomate, a roof over my head, a supply of good food, and hopefully a car, this is a dream come true to me, and I cant wait to share my days with you guys.

One thing that really makes me glad is that my girlfiend is also in the us, the studies in the same city where I will reside, her companny is incredibly comforting, for where I will live is warm and sunny, but I'll miss the warmth of my home, living with my parents, who btw recently divorced, and my friends from here; But luckily, holydays and plane tickets exist, I wanna come back and visit every so often, for christmas, for the summer time, and any other excuse I get to spend days with those who I cherish; For those times in the middle, however, I believe it can get quite lonely, having to share a room with someone is something ive never experienced before, communal showers and bathrooms, having all my meals in a big dinning, being neighbours with most of my classmates, it sounds like a wild dream, but it will become my reality soon.

One phrase that I keep thinking about is how we suffer more in our imagination than in our reality, at least for me, a guy who is all going pretty well in life, is a relatable phrase, specially after this morning. I spend weeks on end worrying, biting my nails, terrified of my visa being denied and my college dream vanishing, I googled so many articles on the interview, I printed so many documents, I rehearsed all my lines for many possible questions, only for the interview to last no more than 20 seconds. The interviewer asked me if I worked in the US when I had my student visa, which I didn't, for I was too busy going to 5th grade. He asked me who took care of me during my time, I answered that it was my mother, He took one last look at me, and authorised my visa.

In other news, tomorrow is my last visit at the coffee shop where I take my barista classes, it will be my final exam, and probably the easiest, I need to brew some coffee the old fashioned way, through methods, I was lucky enough to get kalita wave as my method, and Ive discovered a wonderful recipe that makes some of the most delicious brew i've ever tried, coffee is truly a wonder, and ive met one of my best friends of all time going to those classes, who I will miss dearly after I travel.

this was supposed to be uploaded two days ago but was left to marinate in my drafts lol.
