It’s Just Three Words

I love you

Just three words…yet…they have a lot of meaning

I mean depends how you say it, what it means to you, the tone in your voice, if you actually mean it or not, ect ect.

Just three words!

I hear it a lot, sometimes they don’t even mean anything up to a certain point, it’s just mandatory to say them 

At times they’re even forced out of your mouth, yeah they’ll have no meaning but still 

Over time those three words lose its meaning all together, they’ll simply just be three words thrown around

But if you change one word it’ll have a completely whole different meaning 

Three words you never want to hear especially from someone close to you, who your life depends on, who you’ve built your entire being around

I hate you

Just three words…yet…they have a lot of meaning 

In the end it’s just three words

Just three words

They are just words…yet they mean so much

They hurt so much 

And can even make you feel the same way no matter which version you hear

But who cares they’re just words

Words words words

You shouldn’t dictate your entire being over them 

Or do 

It doesn’t matter to anyone else but yourself 

Because after all 

It’s just three words
