First entry!

I've been itching for alternative creative outlets to Instagram and Tiktok. [Don't even get me started on the cesspool that is FB.] 

So I figured I'd mess around on here, revisiting html work has been fun so far and I do like the idea of an easily accessible blog feature again.

I've probably spent far too much time with introspection, overthinking, and second-guessing, to the point where it's likely more detrimental than helpful. Such is life. The current state of bigotry in the US is also a huge hindrance to my outlook and overall mood most days too. It is really baffling that people cannot be kind to one another or at the bare minimum, mind their own business. 

I've been wrestling with quite a bit of creative avoidance, or self-sabotage when it comes to finishing up my current project. I'm not sure exactly why it's been such a slog, but I'm trying to get back into better habits. If I were to guess, it's just been a lot of what feels like roadblocks. From algorithmic changes on IG, tanked reach, a shadowban, to a sizeable amount of problem-solving and troubleshooting on this cosplay. I've been incredibly tired and sleeping too much, or too little. Who knows? 

I managed to get several hours of electronics and soldering work done over the weekend, and that felt pretty good. Just gotta keep taking small steps.
