This smart-ass reply was first said in the late 90's by Lowtax creator of something awful while old and stupid. I think it holds up way more than it ever did
Can we really say our time spent on these webs made us smarter. Have we benefited from hours wasted online. I would say no, World4Peace is a cringy core-core wanna be edits that make fun of the internet in it's entirety or culture in general

i approve of this honestly, i'm personally addicted to the internet and all the internet has ever done to me are the followings: made me more insecure about myself, made me suicidal, & the internet just sucks my brain into it. the internet isn't good for anyone, and that's a fact. if someone chooses to use the internet for their path, it could either lead to a bad or good ending, my ending is so far, bad. this is just my personal opinion of the internet, and i + many others are addicted to using the internet & what the internet holds, like websites. we cannot just stop, it's hard for us to do so. people who have, congrats. but there are so many wrong things with the internet, which your personal opinion i agree with, but what i've explained so far, is what i think about the internet. to sum this all up, the internet is horrible for people and their lives, it could be good, but most likely isn't, & i agree with u %100.
Thanks for the honest reply, I think it shows the more negative parts of the Web. I believe that this whole experiment as the internet was a mistake for the average teen.

Honestly agree, I feel like after the early 2010's everything went downhill from there with people beginning to live completely through the internet and giving their whole lives to it for internet points (likes, upvotes, whatever). It's honestly a scary thing to think about sometimes and I think we'd be better off in the dark ages of the internet where everything wasn't as accessible to the masses.

I feel like the internet has destroyed any actual intellectual capacity that i might have had, its just pure escapism now, a way to avoid my thoughts. Sitting at work with no phone today was SHIT because i had to actually think about my life and not just listen to music/have constant stimulation. Porn is the WORST thing to ever happen ever online, internet was made for it though xd
