pepperman is the bane of my existence

i cannot beat his ass for shit bro. most of the time its because of my own stupid ass bcuz i keep 4getting the run button exists, walking into his attacks on accident, but THE FUCKING KNIGHT STATUES I HATE THOSE THINGS!!!!!! i have to do the things where you press jump and run at the same time otherwise i die. does any1 have any tips for my slow ass? thx in advance.
