“Hello! It's a me, Mario! Would you like to go on an adventure?” Mario says thrillingly.
“Actually, I have a request,” a strange figure exclaims. Mario stares at the figure curiously, “what type of request?"
“A game opportunity, a game of wit and will” the figure stares at Mario grinning.
“You think you can beat my skills? A ‘game opportunity’ you say? Very well, I'll accept your challenge.”
“Great!" the figure says excitedly.
“I challenge you to a competition of Goomba Stomp! A competition to see who will stomp the most Goomba’s in 60 seconds. The person who has the most Goombas stomped in 60 seconds wins!” Mario explains.
The figure replies “Ah, that's where you're wrong, we're going to play my game” The figure chuckles.
“A new challenge!? What is it? My skills are unmatched, so be warned… “
“You know princess Peach, you love her right? Do anything to make her happy?”
“Yes! Her happiness is very important to me! I will do whatever I can for her, and her only! No one else in the whole world. Only Princess Peach, she's my top priority!”
“What if I told you your brother was trying to have an affair with her?
“Luigi, trying to have an affair? WITH THE PRINCESS?! No way. That's impossible. He would never do that to me! If he is, I will have to speak to him immediately. No exceptions.”
“Why not take your revenge?” The figure's smile begins to show, getting wider and wider. Mario's eyes widened, looking furious.
“What do you mean by revenge?! Luigi needs to be kicked out of Princess Peach’s Castle. He has crossed the line, and I will teach him a lesson… “
“I have a better idea” the figure, still with its menacing grin, starts to hand him a freshly sharpened knife. Mario's eyes widened with a shocked expression. “What am I supposed to do with this? Cut his fingers with it? Slash his arms? He deserves more than that, I have to make him regret ever trying to have an affair with Princess Peach…”
“Kill him. kill him Mario'' the figure says glaring at him. Mario’s eyes widened angrily. “You would like me to do that? Kill my own brother? Fine. I will take this knife, and kill him, since he is crossing the line for Princess Peach, he will have to pay for this, and I will show everyone that I'm the top Mario Brother, and Luigi isn't. I will teach him a lesson!” Mario says, tightening his fist, looking angry as he walks towards Luigi.
“Right over there, make sure to make it as painful as possible.” the figure grins. Mario walks right up to Luigi staring intensely.
“Luigi. What are you doing?! Are you trying to have an affair with Princess Peach?! Why? She’s my woman, she loves me and you know that! Why would you do this? You’re crossing the line! Don’t you care about hurting me?!?” as Mario was talking to Luigi, The Figure whispered to Mario.
“Do it Mario.” Mario grips the knife tight, looking at it. He then looks up to Luigi, who is looking at him shocked, not expecting Mario to do this…
“Luigi, I am sorry for this…” Mario then proceeds to stab Luigi, making his cries of pain heard.
“Oh! I believe there was a misconception.” The Figure says enlightened. Mario looks at The Figure shocked, he was just manipulated into murdering his brother…
“Why did you tell me to do that?!” Mario trembles “He was my brother! You never make someone murder their family, that’s sick!”
“Well you can’t go back now. Luigi’s blood is on your hands. You are the one holding the knife. You stabbed him.” The Figure states. Mario looks down at the knife. Blood dripping from it. Mario starts having a mental breakdown. He realized what awful thing he had done, murder.
“I, no,” Mario stutters. “I killed my brother. I’m… a murderer.” the thoughts start running around his head, murder, murder, murder, murderer, murderer, murderer. Mario feels nothing but pain, guilt, and the fear in Luigi’s eyes.
“You’re a bad man Mario. You killed your own brother over a girl.” The Figure exclaims. MURDERER, MURDERER, MURDERER. The thoughts keep running through his head over and over again. “ What am I going to do?! This was all about Princess Peach, but now that luigi is dead, my family is broken! What am I supposed to do? I killed my own brother for no reason! I am a horrible man!” Mario screams devastated. “You’re right Mario, you are a horrible man. It’s all Princess Peach’s fault. She started this. Kill her too” Mario hesitates, then proclaims “...That’s a good idea…If she wasn’t in the picture, this never would have happened, I never would have murdered my own brother…I will kill her today, as vengeance for everything that’s happened!
