I've picked up reading again!

I honestly cannot tell you the last time I picked up a fictional book and read it, probably when I was about 13 or 14 so a very long time ago! Anyways, I've started reading Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, I can already tell that the timeline is going to be very confusing (as it quite literally states at the beginning of Chapter 2) BUT with that being said I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and carry on reading! (Plus I paid £10 for it off Amazon, so I'd be stupid to not read it). I also made a trip to town last week and picked up: The girl with the dragon tattoo, Twilight (and new moon), The cutting season, and The devil's staircase. All were from the charity shop and relatively cheap so I couldn't pass it up! I'm mainly into the horror/thriller genre at the moment so if anyone has any good recommendations, please let me know!
