doc ock kandi harness project | update 1!

so. gestures wildly at my entire profile being tssm!doc ock themed. I'm Having A Moment.

and i decided to channel all that kin energy into replicating the arms/harness/thingy. i miss everything and this will being me Some sort of solace, even if it's completely nonfunctional. wahoo!

the first couple of materials shipped today and i got a bit of progress done! it was a bit of a rough start bc pony beads are Very finicky in the beginning stages, so this was probably the slowest bit of it. i got 12-sih rows done in about... i wanna say 2 or 3 hours? somewhere in there. there was quite a bit of backtracking. i'm doing this vertically, so the full height of it is done, and i'll be working my way around my waist for this first stretch of the project.

as for the rest of the project, i don't expect it to be very hard, just time-consuming. the arms themselves can be worked on like basic kandi cuffs, and while this Is my first time working with perlers, i'm making basic shapes for the most part. i'm expecting this to take a couple of months at least, and i'm very excited to go into the details as they come up. the hardest part is shelling out the money for everything... i've already spent like 85 bucks on beads, string, and pegboards. this is 100% Unemployed Behavior, and my only excuse is college breathing down my neck 2/3 of the year. i'll probably update once i get a color that isn't blue on here. toodles!
