I didn't sleep the whole night for some reason, but I wasn't tired at all! So I "stood up" at 4 and had a short breakfast and then at 4:45 i started hiking. I planned on going onto one of the most popular summits in the area, so I was surpised that I met so few people. But the weather was wonderful!
Formaulehen
I usually don't take this path here, but in order to include a secondary summit, I did^^
And here we are.
Knoglberg (1358 m). It only has a prominence of 8 meters to the next mountain, so I don't count it as a summit, but from a certain view it sticks out and looks like an own mountain. What a poser.
Somebody mowed here seemingly random pieces of the meadow...
Sun is rising!
This long grassy saddle connects the Knoglberg with the next peak I will go on.
Gaißau
Rhododendron hirsutum
Allium victorialis
From the spot with the flowers you have such a nice view. To the right my path goes over the green summit and then further to the double-summit.
Stony stairs
There are lots of anthills near the path.
I can't stop taking pictures AAAGH
Now let's come to the next hill. It's called Jaganosn (hunter's nose) and is a little ridge on the path.
Which side? ;P
You can also skip tht part, this is what it looks from below.
The summit is near!
Schlenken (1648 m)
Moo
<3
Let's continue!
A little bit below the ridge there is a cave tht leads to the other side - I didn't make any photos, but i filmed it!
Cyanus montanus
Anthyllis vulneraria
We're getting nearer and nearer
Let's invade the castle!
The smaller summit
Zisterbergalm
Ebenwaldalm
Gugelanalm
Schmittenstein (1695 m)
The path continues. This ridge here is also a secondary summit!
And that's the highest point. Again, not a "real" mountain. Schlenkstein (1609 m)
Schlenken from afar
Schlenksteinalm
All of a sudden, a path leads into the forest, it's pretty hard to find.
Tennerwinkl
Tenneralm
Niglkaralm
And long boring road passage again...
Gaißeggalm
Why so skeptical?
Bichlalm
Dirstegalm, Zillhütte, Niederhofalm, Trautenstattalm
Schlenkenrinne again.
Schneidreithalm
Hubertuskapelle
Well, that was it! Thanks for reading!
