Reality Mimicking Fiction

*SPOILER ALERT FOR DON'T LOOK UP (2021)*

In 2021 a movie came out on Netflix called Don't Look Up where an asteroid was going to destroy the planet and they were trying to stop it. Part of the movie is a scene where a large company owned by a some rich guy was making plans to mine the asteroid and break it up into a bunch of pieces. The problem was a lot of people thought the science was off and every time someone working for the company brought up doing the proper safety checks or that they didn't think it was safe, they were fired. The plan failed and the planet was destroyed, everyone died. Look at what just happened with the ocean gate incident where when people brought up how it wasn't safe, they were fired and then the sub imploded. I just thought this was a coincident and should be pointed out.
