Casino (1995)

On my hunt to watch more Mafia movies, I've recently been watching the movie Casino which is another Scorsese film that takes place in Vegas in the 70s. I get a lot of "Goodfellas" vibes from this film and I think that's just how he directs his movies that are based off of real people. If that's the case than I hope to like this movie just as much as I liked Goodfellas!

I like the duo this movie features as well, their characters seem really interesting. A gambler who's always lucky and wins, and a friend who's ready to kill a guy at a moments notice. Great pairing! One thing I didn't even notice about Nicky is that he seemed so charming and harmless for some reason? To me I was expecting him to be more of a comic relief character, so when he just straight up stabbed that guy in the neck with a pen I literally was so surprised lol.
