spider-man is the best written superhero

people underestimate spider-man way too much, these days i saw a discussion about wether spider-man would lose in a fight against batman or not, and how can so many people think he'd lose! 

firstly, i think most people forget batman is just a guy, literally just a trained guy, not that i don't love him, but people overestimate him way too much, considering all of his villains are, also, just guys with no super-powers, spider-man is super powerful, which can be obvious if you read any comic ever.

and considering there was an actual fight between batman and spider-man, a fist fight, without gadgets, batman would physically be no match to spider-man, considering his super-powers and the fact that peter parker always holds back.

i just dont understand how the debate is even possible, knowing that if peter parker did not hold back his strenght, it would be a one-sided, easy fight
