play my latest gamejam game!!

its a dmless, solo, tabletop journaling game where you print out and explore the map irl, and click through the story/prompts on the screen :)

the theme for this jam was immortal so... the story i bungled together is one about an immortal hero stuck in a timeloop, same as the rest of the island they're exploring!
they wake up only knowing their stats and their mission, and you answer prompts to sorta. give this character a persoanlity and life outside of being The Hero

on the itch theres some premade character cards in a pdf so you can download those and the board to try them out (irl if you print them or just like... in an art program to drag your marker around!)

Look Around and Find Yourself

(free, in browser/physical)

if you feel confused at first... start up the game (in browser!) and read the introduction- i made this by myself in 32 hours, so its not perfect but if you read everything chances are youll figure it out<3

theres a few typos and errors but im hoping to make this into a neater finalised game one day, cause i think a more professional looking board and a mobile app would make this a really satisfying game to play

i wasnt really sure people would like my game because this gamejam is mostly cishet nerd guys who want to make shooters and meme games.. but everyone loved it!!?!

i won peoples choice and best game design based on other participants votes, and the judges picked me to win best execution of an ambitious design! im so proud, despite being kinda embarassed... there were over 30 other entries by other solo developers and teams of up to 8 people!

it is a bit of a word salad........ hopefully you can get what i mean by it if you consider each kinda game seperately then mush em all into one gfdfhghd

I was just gonna play the game and figure it out that way, but I did get the gist from the first paragraph! I just tend to get physically tired if I have to carefully reread something too many times and I'd rather save that energy for coding CUGXCCUG
