about schizophrenia

to be honest these days i feel like schizophrenia goes unmentioned despite it being amongst one of the common mental disorders or wtv u wanna call it . i know it has gotten its fair share of limelight probably in the past where it blew up or sumn , but nobody really mentions the struggles of a person who unfortunately suffers with schizophrenia anymore . its sad . 

i’ve been diagnosed with schizophrenia , as of fall/winter 2020 . the discomfort and disturbance of having it is bothering me , and it’s worsened recently , especially since i’m grieving over something . thats when it gets really bad . . . i don’t see how some people could wish upon having it . i suffer severe delusions/hallucinations , like seeing things , feeling , hearing , sensing , etc . it’s not easy , will never be easy ! but i don’t take therapy , or any pills , i have been considering recently though , but i have to get someone else to buy it for me , because i’m a minor .

i got schizophrenia due to genetics . so yes , i live with other people who suffer the same too . but obviously , i am less able to handle it in a better manner . although i am self aware of what’s currently happening to me . i can’t say i have episodes daily , but when i do have them , it’s extremely terrifying ! and most of the time , i’m alone . therefore i’m left to handle the situation on my own . but i’ve gotten the hang of it . 

anyway , enough of me rambling about my own experience with schizophrenia . i’d like to know other people’s stories about it , since i never met anybody else who has it . . . yet .
