like a clamshell, i take dirt and make something beautiful out of it.

i take pain and decorate my insides.

this will sustain my days of blossom.

like a clamshell, some people feel entitled to me.

they rip me open. steal my jewels. steal my joy. steal my hard work.

i remain strong.

i continue creating.
