Tyranny and oppression.

Intuition and emotion are the greatest obstacles on the road to achieving a sound ethics system.

One who uses intuition will always be led astray by their personal, and cultural biases. It incites a knee-jerk reaction that leads otherwise thinking individuals, into pseudo-examinations of their own moral character. Everyone thinks they are righteous.

Intuition will always lead you into conclusions that you wish to be valid, rather than one deciphered by systematic investigations of consistency and soundness.

Good, is not the absence of evil. That is simply neutrality . Good is the ability to recognize evil within yourself, while still possessing the courage to go to war with it daily.

However, in order to wage a war, one must possess the right weapons. Let logic be your sword, and philosophy your shield in your battle against the ideas of tyranny and oppression.
