rating mcdonalds breakfast menu items

ok so i've never actually had mcdonalds breakfast items up till this point so i'm rating the food i tried this morning before i forget :D

apple pie: 9.5/10

>wow this was actually really good!

+ crust was flakey and there were apple pieces

+ hint of cinnamon and spices

- nearly burned the shit out of my mouth

hashbrown: 7.5/10

>pretty dang good

+ crisp and potatoey

- i wanted more potato chunks it's a hashbrown not a mashed potato brown

spicy chicken biscuit: 8/10

> pretty yummy

+ crisp and lightly spicy

+ biscuit was pretty good

- again i really want chicken texture not reconstituted meat texture

- dry and i felt like i needed to drizzle some honey on top, needed some sweetness

sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle: 6/10

> honestly i was kinda disappointed because i was looking forward to this one the most

+ sausage was yum and cheese was perfect

- egg had 0 flavor and made the whole thing less flavorful

- mcgriddle pancake things were too sweet and dry, i think i'd just swap the pancakes with a biscuit tbh

overall i was surprised at how woke the apple pie was. i'll probably just order a regular sausage egg and cheese biscuit and an apple pie next time
