My next single “Summerlin” comes out next Wednesday, November 17th! Here’s the story…

This was one of the fastest songs I’ve ever written. Five days after a difficult breakup, in a quest to get out of the city, I ended up in my ex’s hometown of Summerlin, Nevada. Somehow, over all the years of being together, I had never been there before, and now suddenly in the wake of my relationship's rockiest point, I was roaming the same streets he might’ve grown up on. I wrote it as soon as I got back to LA - I still have the voice memo from that night and it’s hard to listen to without getting emotional.
