A Counselor's Conscience.

Their giggles carried across the meadow as little legs and smiling faces miraged into preluded nostalgia. Tiny hands held tinier life, the two beings gawking in the other's presence.

 But interest led to cruel curiosity. The innocent eyes of the beholder witnessed the act of their guilty hands; almost as if entranced by their ability. 

Children take little lives in the act of juvenile wonder...

And I wonder if deities are the same.
