I've been reading some Higurashi recently, in a vain effort to finally finish the game... It's quite bittersweet, however... Keheh, like the last drops of water in a drought, every morsel you can consume is utterly euphoric, yet taking it in means getting closer and closer to its inevitable end... The game, its story and characters, its visuals and music, its comedy and drama... Half of my soul wants to imbibe it all at once with unbridled gluttony, and the other half of my soul wants the experience to be halted indefinitely, in order to savor the game forever... But we don't live in an endless now, do we? Yes, all good things must come to an end, and as such... The show must go on. I will reach the conclusion of this small-town tragedy, and uncover the truth of Oyashiro-sama... Keheheh, I wonder... Will you stay along for the ride?
