I want to design fashion, help!!

I want to design fashion but I'm not sure where to start. I love clothing styles, all types. I have fashion designers I love such as Betsey Johnson, Gela Nash, Pamela Skaist, Alexander Mcqueen & etc. I'm really opened to anything! I really adore clothes from the 90's and 2000's. I want to be creative and work on designs, patterns, clothes but I don't know how :( If someone could please please please!!! give me advice, I would be greatly appreciated :)
