i didnt rlly know how to tag this but basically:
A discord server im in organizes a yearly event called working backwards, It s about making a conlang (constructed language) with some words and a sentence given, thats why its called working backwards lol
This was my first time trying it and i didnt really take it seriously but if anyone wants to see my stuff here it is
the phonetic chart and the original 15 words translated
a dictionary of the 100 words i made
for those that arent familiar with linguistics: the weird letters in the 1st link are the International Phonetic alphabet, you can find an explanation here
it's kinda a joke language thats why the vowels are so weird
it's customary to write the sound in /slashes/ and the ortography or spelling in ⟨angle brackets⟩
the article 1 I translated is the First article of the universal declaration of human rights, which is a very common example text of languages (srsly look up most languages on wiki and they will have it) so i decided to use it.
Once i get around to making a homepage youll be able to see my (much better but still not that good) regular conlang, one that i've been working on for like a year now.
