Happy Father's Day!
I am now a little over halfway through my engineering camp!
This past week was better in the sense that I got used to the schedule. However, we had some severe weather days and ended up taking classes virtually while waiting for breakfast to come. I had such a hard time focusing the first day that this happened because I didn't grab anything to eat from my snack box and breakfast didn't end up arriving until 9. Thankfully, I was prepared the following day.
Classes have definitely become more challenging, and exams are this week. I've been reviewing though.
Also, we went over research pitches this past week, which was cool, but the criticisms were not appreciated. My group didn't have testable research, which I knew about, but my group didn't listen to me and I couldn't find the words to describe the problem we were having. We still have about two weeks to fix our research proposal though.
Yesterday, we went to the university's rec center, which is really nice and well-kept. I walked the track once and spectated a small informal volleyball game. I will say that I want to gain some arm muscle, and I could do it at the rec for a lower price. Routine-wise, I'm not sure exactly how I would pull that off. I'm a little scrawny, so I feel like taking advantage of the rec is something I should do since I sometimes have trouble lifting some chairs! lol
As for this week, other than exams, we have Juneteenth off. There is something to do marked on the schedule, but I've heard conflicting statements on whether or not we're doing that? Hopefully, this week goes well, though I'm more focused on what will happen next week, especially since we don't have a schedule for that week.
Bom dia,
