SpaceHey is better than the modern social media platforms. It has no ads, no algorithms, no influencers. Also, it pretty much taught me basic HTML and CSS as well, and the emo and scene subcultures are thriving here. Like REAL emo kids. Not just the TikTokers who say that they’re “emo”. You can customise your webpage as well, instead of having it be bland, and boring.

I 100% agree. On every other social media app there's a bunch of toxicity, barely any options 2 customize ur profile, 2 many influencers, etc. Here on spacehey, u can just take a break from all of that and relax. Plus u can learn some useful stuff about coding since coding is essential 2 customization and expression here.

couldn't agree more. I don't even have instagram and tiktok. but you still somehow can't escape it- even youtube and pinterest is now completely bombarded with tiktok content, and now have a "shorts"/"watch" feature, in other words mindless scrolling through random shit. can't wait until they bring vampirefreaks back, or for that matter any site based on real words and information rather than random content. being online now is like walking through a mall with a ton of retail kiosks.

YES to all of that! i completely agree with you, i’m taking a break from all of that right now for the same reasons. too much toxicity and too many distractions. plus, i miss customising so much!
