hi !

This is a PSA to STAY A BABY!!

I'm going to college this fall. In a few months I'm gonna be shipping myself off to this random town where I will know nobody! And my main worry? THE COLLEGE BATHROOMS!!! 

How do people poop with strangers? Like you're in a public bathroom. The stalls are not very private with those sneaky door slits. You poop. Poop stinks. The bathroom stinks. You go out of the bathroom and, like many other public bathrooms, there's people right outside your stall door. Now everyone knows that you pooped. They know that stink came from YOU! What are you supposed to do? Spray some Febreze before someone goes in? Sprinkle some Poo-pourri in the toilet water before someone sees? Either way your dignity will be lost. 

I can't do it!

I won't do it! 

It's a scam! 

And anyway, dorms are CRAZY expensive. Like I thought that tuition meant ALL college costs (even though it literally says tuition so idk why I thought that teehee) but NO! That $30-40 thousand? Classes. Boring classes. Dorms? $12-13 THOUSAND. That's literally an apartment. I'm paying the same amount as a 1 bedroom apartment for a cramped, public toilet dorm. 

I've mulled it over with myself multiple times and I've decided that I'd be fine and happy with dorm living if I can get a suite-style, which is where I will have to share a room (like usual) BUT there's a private bathroom attached to the room so only two of us are using it, which also means there's more time for private poop time! 

Roommate out for a class? Poop!

Roommate at the dining hall? Poop!

Roommate at the library? Poop! 

Soo many chances! 

But ultimately, it's up to fate.

I also am a bit worried about how I'm gonna pay for college as a whole. I did get a good scholarship (yay!) which pays for 2/3rds of everything, but that remaining 1/3rd is really giving me the heebie jeebies. I tried to get it sorted out with outside scholarships-- yk the kind of stuff where you have to write an essay and then hope it's good enough-- but I've gotten NONE of them! So many essays and drafts of essays GONE. Working during school is also an option, and it looked like there'd be some good jobs nearby, but so many people said to not work yet, at least not during the first semester??? So who knows what I'm gonna do! 

Even so, all is ok ok ok!! Staying a baby sounds very nice right now, so those of you who are, roll around in your young-ness for a lil bit (at least until you get tired).  I guessss I'm glad that I'm an adult now but man all these poop and money worries got HANDS!
