Cinnamon roll recipe

HI!! This is the recipe for homemade cinnamon rolls!!

Dough Ingredients

3 1/2-4 cups of flour

1/3 cups of sugar

1 teaspoon of salt

4 1/2 teaspoons of dry yeast (2 packages)

1 cup of milk

1/2 stick of butter (room temp)

1 egg

Filling Ingredients

1/2 cup of sugar

2 teaspoons of cinnamon

1/2 stick of butter

First in a nice sized bowl mix in 2 cups of flour, salt , yeast, and sugar. Mix well together. Then add in butter milk and the egg. I mixed mine by hand but i got a arm cramp in both arms so i recommend using a mixer if you own one. Mix together for 1 minute.

Then stir in the rest of the flour 1/2 cup at a time until it looks like dough. On a cutting board place down some flour and knead the dough for about 5 minutes.

To keep dishes low i washed out the bowl that i used to mix the dough in and then either use cooking oil or cooking spray to coat the inside. After you have done that put the dough inside the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap nice and tight and place a hand towel on top as well. Set yout oven to the lowest setting it goes to and let it preheat. Once its preheated turn it off and stick your dough in there for 1 hour and 30 minutes to rise.

the time has pasted check to see if the dough has doubled in size. If so gently pat it down. Then take it back to your cutting board and roll out with a rolling pin till its a kinda rectangle shape.Once its a rectangleish shape pour down the melted butter on to it. Then put your filling on top, make sure to cover all of the dough. After that roll up the dough into like a log shape. Then get a pan out and cut the dough into tiny rolls and place them in the pan.Cover the pan with plastic wrap and place a towel on top.

After you have completed that. Repreheat the oven to the lowest setting. Once its preheated, turn it off and place the rolls in the oven to rise for 30 minutes.

Once it is done rising for the second time, preheat the oven to 350. After its heated place your rolls in uncovered for 35 minutes. They will look golden brown when cooked completely.

I let them sit for like 5 minutes to let them cool, then cut and enjoy :)
