Feels like 2007

Myspace was the first real social media I joined where I could be myself growing up. Between 2005-2009 I used the site as my main online interaction. A lot of firsts came from that site. I learned a little HTML, how not to get baited by phishing scams (after the first time I fell for it), and just overall networking. I remember playing music a lot as I grew older, and myspace was huge for local music scenes all over the world. It's how I met people I would later call bandmates, and now ex bandmates, lol.

Eventually we moved on to Facebook, Twitter, etc. Myspace fell into obscurity. Today I wake up to the news of spacehey. A true to life layout of our favorite old social media site. Setting up what little I have so far has felt nostalgic, even though my tastes have changed. I know many will probably make this and fall off again, but I think I will really get into this site.

I hope spacehey can cater to musicians like MySpace did. That may just inspire me to return to making music,
